Teak PE Marble Aluminum Composite Panel

Basic Material

  • 1) Protective film with CROWNBOND/OEM brand or as your requested
  • 2) Front Side: aluminum roll coated with PVDF
  • 3) Macromolecular lamination film.
  • 4) Core: Non-toxic polyethylene.
  • 5) Macromolecular lamination film.
  • 6) Rear Side: Aluminum coated with primer or as requested.

Aluminium composite panels (ACP), made of aluminium composite material (ACM), are flat panels consisting of two thin coil-coated aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core. ACPs are frequently used for external cladding or facades of buildings, insulation, and signage.

ACP is mainly used for external and internal architectural cladding or partitions, false ceilings, signage, machine coverings, container construction, etc. Applications of ACP are not limited to external building cladding, but can also be used in any form of cladding such as partitions, false ceilings, etc. ACP is also widely used within the signage industry as an alternative to heavier, more expensive substrates.

Methodology of Installation of Teak PE Marble Aluminum Composite Panel

Prepare the Surface:
Surface has to be clean, smooth and dry. Take Double check to make sure the surface is structurally sound. Remove any moldings, Take measure for the undulation Surface. Identifying the potential complications in advance will help. The installation smoothly. CROWNBOND is a rigid panel, but a physical impact maybe cause an edge deformation. Inclusion of hard particles such as grains of sand and cutting chips caught between CROWNBOND panels may cause visible dent damages in one or more adjacent panels.
Checking of Level: Use level to make sure that the alignment of the wall is true to its requirement and adjust the level (if required).
Take note of the following precautions while handling CROWNBOND during fabrication and installation.

(1) Unpacking and Repacking
A. Do unpacking and repacking works in a clean place.
B. Remove dusts and chips from CROWNBOND and the packing paper. Any hard particles between panel will cause a dent damage on CROWNBOND panels.
C. Handle CROWNBOND on a worktable. Do not handle it on the floor
d. CROWNBOND should always be handled by two people with external face upward to avoid possible rubbing of the CROWNBOND surface during handing.

(2) Transport
A. For transport: lay the packed CROWNBOND horizontally and do not place heavy goods on it.
B. Mark "Handle with Care"," Keep Dry " , "No Hooks” and "This Side Up” clearly on the packing.

(3) Fabrication
A. Prior to fabrication, clean off the worktable, temporary stand and both sides of CROWNBOND.
B. Ensure that cutting chips generated from saws, routers and drills are completely removed from the interface between CROWNBOND and tools.

(4) Storage
A. Store CROWNBOND panels indoors with a flat rack system or a vertical rack system shown below.
B. In a flat rack system, pile the same size of panels on a rigid palette. Do not pile up different sizes together. Our wooden crates can usually be stacked up to four crates high.
c. In a vertical rack system, lean panels closely against an inclined backing material within 10".The total thickness of leaning panels should not exceed 100mm thick. Use veneer for backing cover and place rubber mat on the bottom. Avoid scratches when pulling out from the rack and restoring it.

(5) Protective Film
The protective film of CROWNBOND. Consisting of two polyethylene layers of white and black withstands outdoor exposure for approx. 6 months. However, store and panels in dry and indoor atmosphere. To minimize the natural-degradation of the protective film by moisture and direct sunlight during storage.

(6) PVC Tape
Do not use adhesive tapes made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) on the surface of protective film at any time during storage, fabrication or installation. The plasticizer
(An additive) in PVC tape will permeate the film and attack the Lumiflon coating. Which causes a gloss change problem on the coating. Any tapes may cause this problem, including duct tape, packing tape and insulation tape.

Crownbond® ACP compared with different products (Lightness / Rigidity)
The composite structure of crownbond® results in an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, even when comparing large panel sizes. Despite its low weight, which makes crownbond® easy to transport and handle in the factory and on site, its rigidity and high strength make the panels keep their shape and remain flat, even when exposed to extreme temperature changes. Comparison of thickness and weight of panels with equal rigidity.
