A2 PVDF Fire-Proof Aluminum Composite Panel

Summary

  • Fire-resistance ACP is a kind of green fire-resistant composite material which is compounded of two layers of aluminum sheet and special low-density polythylene (LDPE) with fire-resistance. The coating of its surface is PE or PVDF coating. The core material is compounded by fire-resistant MGOH, NAOH and PE Polyster, so it has the feature of good fire-resistance which can reach A2class.

What makes the Aluminium Composite Panel Sheets of crownbond unique, is the possibility to apply multiple colours on 1 side of the panel. This is due to the fact that the aluminium sheets, varying in thickness from 0,15 to 0,5mm, are covered in varnish through a rollercoat process. Usually, the panels are being varnished on 1 or 2 sides and covered with protective film. This film protects the varnish during modification and is available with a thickness of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6mm. Aluminium sandwich panels are available in different sizes, with a minimum of 2.44 x 1.22 meters and a maximum of 6 x 1.22 meters.

Test Indexes and Requirements for Fireproof ACP (A-grade Noncombustible Composite Sandwich Materials)

1) Tested according to GB/T 8625-88, the average residual length of each set of specimens is ≥350mm, (the remaining length of any specimen is >200mm), and the peak value of the average flue gas temperature for each test is ≤125°C. No burning on the back.
2) Tested according to GB/T8627-1999, smoke density rating (SDR) ≤ 15.
3) Tested according to GB/T14402-93 and GB/T14403-93, the thermal value of its material is ≤ 4.2MJ/kg, and the heat released per unit area of the test piece is ≤ 16.8MJ/m2.
4) Tested according to the GA 132--1996, the non-lethal concentration of the flue gas toxicity of the material combustion, Lco ≥ 25.0 mg / L, the mouse does not die during the exposure period, the mice within 3 days of exposure to the virus does not die, and the weight recovered.

A2 Grade Fireproof core, double side unbroken plastic.

FR-888 was put into mass production at the beginning of establishment of ALABANG which is one of developed flame retardant pellet mainly for Fire proofing Aluminium Plastic Composite Panel/ pipe. It is made of special PE/ Aluminium Hydroxide that after activating treatment/ flame retardant synergist and the other additives mixing together,  and then extruding small pellet by Twin Screw Extruder.

Due to Aluminium Hydroxide is belong to neutral material act as the additive for FR-888, There is no possiblility exist the chemical reaction when bonding with slant acidity high polymer adhesive film, and at the same time it would not corrode the Aluminium layer of Aluminium Plastic Composite panel.

3. Lightness
