Aluminium composite panel is a kind of composite materials with the chemically processed aluminium surface layer and PE core. The features of products decide the wide range in application: wall cladding, building decoration, ceiling panels, protective covering. As a new-type building decoration material, now aluminium composite panel is widely used in China.

Normal PE Metallic Coating

A decorative coating. Made of special scale-like metal powder (such as aluminum powder, bronze powder, etc.), after the formation of the coating, the metal powders are oriented in different levels, and as the incident angle of the light and the reflection angle change, a star-like flickering metallic luster (flash effect) is reflected from different depths. At the same time with a variety of transparent organic or inorganic pigments, can be made into a variety of colors. Used for the finishing of automobiles, household appliances, etc. Used with primers and varnish. Commonly used varieties are thermosetting acrylic paints or polyester paints.

PE Coating Performance Application

When synthesizing a polyester resin, if some other structure is introduced through chemical modification, the polyester resin can have properties that are not originally possessed, so as to improve and highlight a certain performance purpose, to achieve special application performance requirements. The most used are epoxy, acrylic, silicone modified polyester resins.
The polyester resin used in the coating is generally a low molecular weight, amorphous, branched, crosslinkable polymer. It is generally formed by the esterification of polyhydric alcohols and polybasic acids, and has two structures: Pure linearity and Branched type.
Pure linearity: The paint film prepared by the linear structure resin has better flexibility and processing performance.
Branched type: The hardness and weather resistance of the film prepared from the branched structural resin are prominent.
By adjusting the formulation of the polyester resin, such as an excess of polyol, hydroxyl-terminated polyesters can be obtained. If an excess of acid, based on the resulting carboxyl terminated polyester.
